Playdown: Social and Recognition

All the students played beautifully at our last play down concert!

For those of you that are not familiar with the Suzuki methodology and play down concerts, the most advanced students start on the stage playing the most advanced pieces. From there, they keep playing pieces in reverse order of our books (play “down”), and more kids join the stage. The concert ends with the whole school playing our Twinkles. It is very emotional!

FRSS was in charge of recognizing the teachers with beautiful gifts, and organized a picnic for the families and provided cookies for all. We spend a good time together, enjoying the beautiful views of our outdoor concert venue :)
